Hi Chris,
My big coil runs on a 10 kVA pig with two HV bushings, but it may as
well be a single HV bushing the way that I have it hooked up. I simply
ground one of the HV bushings to the case and the system RF ground.
I like the idea of only ONE "hot" HV lead to the tank circuit. So, I would
not worry about changing your single bushing pig to a bouble bushing
one. Mine works just fine the way that I described the hookup and I have
been running this way for nearly a year now. 

<< There are 3 LV connections, the center with a strap to the case. I'm 
 < assumeing this is fed 110 - G - 110 from a 220 feed (like a dryer).

Yes, the LV bushings are wired just the way that you described. However,
if you intend to run it on 240, DON'T hook up the center terminal to ground,
just leave it unhooked to anything.
