Hi Ray...

secondary coils ( depending upon their construction) can give one a rather
healthy zap.  Some people
have had no secondary zaps and others ( like myself ) have seen secondaries
that can almost disable you.
A few months ago I posted a note about my secondary that was capable of
producing multiple zaps even tho
it had been removed from the T coil assembly and placed on the work bench.
It produced 1/2" sparks from
the base of the coil to a variac plugged into a wall socket every 20 - 30
seconds for almost several
minutes. This was one of the oddest things ive ever seen.
