Not really. They are rather short, they're only 3/16" of an inch thick or
thereabouts, and they have a #4/40 nut behind them (#4/40 bolt with the head
ground off run through them, with a nut on the back of them, and then
another nut holding them to the disk, the rest of the 1" long bolt just
sticks out the back). There are a few marks on the disk where it has gotten
hit, but these were from the MOT bank w/o a capacitor. There really is no
tracking with it in the tank circuit. A thin sheet of plexi in front of the
rotor would cure any problems. I thought about putting plexi behind the
electrodes, but after I fired it up I didn't even think twice about it. When
looking at the gap while it is firing the electrodes are illuminated by the
discharge and appear in a relatively fixed pattern, indicating that the
firings are always occuring at the same points. If there was any firings or
tracking there should be some blur, the pattern on mine is crystal clear.

Alia Shaw, the geek groups photographer, takes all the pictures on the site.
I believe that it was a digital camera, but don't know for sure. Chris
should know, and he should be reading this post, but if he doesn't reply
I'll ask him off list.
