Thanks for all the help everyone has given me so far.
T'Cs seam to be a constant challenge, but interesting.

Tried a bigger top load, the garage florescent light was pretty bright so it
was deffently transmitting power but no streamers.
So what I did was put a small toroid on the top real small 3x10, and it
quenched the spark gap with my shop vac.
Widened my relief gap a little,  And hooked 2 15KV 60ma NST's in a series.
That helped allot, was able to get 2 1/2 foot streamers.  I think I need to
make a rotary gap though.

I am thinking of trying 3 NST's in a series, but I don't know if my MMC's
will take that much juice.
Blew my power strip breaker a few times, 2 NSTs must be pulling 10-15amps,
Moving the stuff to a 30amp breaker to fix that.
How much can I push  3 parallel strings of .056uf 1600V metal Polypro, x12
each per string for a total of 19,200volts, before they blow out???

That 8.5 secondary takes allot of juice to push, If I narrow the gap in my
primary spacing would this improve the performance??
My primary only has 12 turns of 1/4 tubing at .75 between each turn.

If I would change my primary to 6 awg solid copper and make it 15 turns, at
1/4" between each turn, would this help much if at all??

Next goal is 3 to 4 feet.
