Re: NST current, was Filters & Chokes



Gary, my old coil with a jefferson used to draw close to15 amps with variac.
I could pull 16 arc's without a toroid. I also had 2 in sparks jumping
across the doorknobs rated at 45kv.. it is also the reason why it went
SILENT. oh that was with static gap pulled back to about 3 inches too! I
just keept piling up more caps and got more out for a while....cul brian
