RE: Another RSG Question

Thanks. "Arbor" was the magic word I was looking for.
I got one from McMaster Carr for $4.50. I just need to
drill a larger hole in my 7" rotor.

I modified my 1/4 hp 1725 rpm motor this weekend. It
was real easy. I used a grinder to get the flats
roughly right, then used a belt sander, then finished
with a file. I should have my larger SRSG up and
running soon.

thanks again
Adam

I just researched the matter a bit more since my last
response to your post,
and found listed with Graingers the device, it is
called a ftactional HP
motor shaft arbor............. I should have
remembered it..... I do not
have a 2000 catalogue, but on the 1999 cat. it is
listed on page 352.... I
am quite certain you would find it in their on-line
book and I am equally
certain McMasters would have them as well.
