Re: Haunted House Coil Use

Hi all!

I'm afraid I have to agree with Jeff on this one. (IMHO)
A few Danger: High Voltage signs put in highly visible locations,
and making sure the crowd can't get to the HV stuff (IE, keep 'em
far enough back there's no possible chance they'll get hit). Make
sure you build it safe and professional-looking (no hot glue, wire
nuts and duct tape!), and let the saftey officials crawl it top to
bottom. Box up anything that could reach out and bite (caps,
xformer, etc.) Lock the controls in a box so it don't get turned
on while you're having a chillidog. Showing the officials it's
built safe, and being operated safely, and poses minimal, if none
at all, threat to the patrons, and you should be in like flint.
I'd skip the loud noise warning. All the better to scare 'em
with.

Keep it simple. Keep it safe, and most of all, Terrify people with
it! It's for halloween, give 'em a good scare! :))

        Just my $.00..broke tonight :/
                                                        Sundog
