Hi Fox, all,

I had noticed this cap on ebay before and I was afraid that this one
was the one that you were refering to in your original post. It states
that it is rated for 1,500 VDC, not 15,000 VDC! Unfortunately, as 
others have already stated, this cap is useless for Tesla tank circuits.
However, it could definitely have some practical use as a PFC cap
for the primary 120/240 volt input side of the power xfmr to keep the 
current draw phased in with the voltage, thus reducing the current
requirement for the xfmr.
