Re: Capacitor matched size



I would stay away from 60Hz resonance with a "real" transformer. Use either
a resistive, or better yet, a inductive ballast, to limit the current to
0-10 amps into the transformer. Plan to use a cap that matches your
available power, don't use one of those Tesla coil calculation programs
that are written towards neon transformer TC's. Resonance matching isn't
something you need to do, your trany will provide all the power you need
(at least until you get that 50 amp circuit installed ;-)).
