Subject: Tesla Coil for Burning Man

Hi there,

I'm LadyBee, theme art coordinator for Burning Man '99, and I'm contacting
you on the recommendation of Greg Leyh, our local Tesla hero. Greg brought
his Tesla coil to Burning Man last year, and is returning this year, but he
does not want to include the coil in our theme art area, the Wheel of Time.
He prefers to be further out on the playa, away from the crowds and noise.
We'd very much like to have another Tesla coil for an area of the Wheel
we're calling the Industrial Zone, which will feature several machine
artists including Kal Spelletich and the Seemen and Christian Ristow. Greg
told us there was a Tesla coil e-mail list, and we thought this would be the
best way to put the word out. Burning Man takes place in the Black Rock
Desert 2 hours north of Reno, from August 30 - September 5. Whoever takes
this on will have to be prepared for the full Burning Man experience, that
is, camping in the desert for a week, bringing in all food, shelter, and
water for that time. Actually they could stay for as little as 5 days and
get the coil up and running and see everything else. To learn more about
Burning Man go to www.burningman-dot-com.

Would you be so kind as to post this to your list for us? We'd appreciate it
greatly. Anyone interested can reply directly to me.

Thank you, LadyBee
