100+ Antique Tesla medical coils, 500 ft. of large diameter PVC!
Hello Fellow Coilers!
Diathermy Machines, Oudin Resonators, d'Arsonval Coils, Guilleminot Spirals,
Violet Rays, Carbon Arc Lamps, X-ray Apparatus, you name it - I've got
piles of paperwork and either originals or homemade repros somewhere in the
garage or house!
My name is Jeff Behary...I live in South Florida, and have spent the last 5
years in my garage studying, taking apart, and rebuilding turn of the
century Tesla Coils and related apparatus. I have a nice unorganised
machine shop here that I tend to "escape to" after work.

figure out what kind of heavy sparking gadgets they have acuired at their
local fleamarkets...

I've still about 250 wiring diagrams to upload, but there are still several
hundred pictures of goodies to look at.
Being the South East's biggest pack rat (and cause of radio / TV
interference!), I've managed to acquire 500 feet of 10.75" PVC pipe to wind
Tesla Coils on. Not exactly the material of choice, but I've managed to
draw 24" sparks off of a few 3 foot tall hobbiest coils I've built and ran
from single 15kv 30mA neon transformers.
Needless to say I don't quite need 500 feet... but then again I don't need
my dozens of Violet Ray machines either!! The PVC is for sale, the endless
shelves of medical apparatus are cemented to the floor!
