Not yet.  As it turns out I fried one side (7) of the MOVs.  The breakdown
voltages were all lowered to various values.  I'll simply replace them and
all will be well again.

The higher the altitude, the lower the breakdown voltage.  There are charts
of this around but I think the gap can vary about 10 or 15 percent in our
case due to the lower air pressure at 5000-8000 feet.

Water pipe.  Or, any metal going into the ground.  Along the front range
the ground is pretty wet as opposed to the east side of the state and it is
no problem at all.
