Adam, I've used one of those pumps and it worked great for pumping down capacitors. BEWARE - I broke two SDR35 6" PVC end caps when the vacuum went over 20". Next time I'll reinforce them by adding a 1/2" thick plastic disk into the end caps before assembling the capacitor tanks. Regards, Brian B.
