Hello Coilers & Antonio:

It was more than just an induction coil.  The power transformer was 
a 25 kilowatt, 20,000 volt unit.  They had no accurate means of
measuring the frequency, but is was somewhere in the vicinity
of 820 kHz.  The first stage gap was 7.5 millimeters while
the second gap was 40 millimeters.  Quite a machine!!
