Adam,
	this copper strap is basically a lotta copper wires that are 
braided(much like those friendship bracelets). WEll if you go to 
www.MECI-dot-com, they sell it for like $.75 per foot. You can also check w/ your 
local electronics shop. AS for connecting this strap to your rod, u can use 
the same stuff, or on the use this strap for grounding everything on your 
stand to a bolt and connect the bolt via a welding cable to the rod. Either 
way will work, but i'd prefer a welding cable because it is more durable and 
the connectin cable will be moved around a lot.
