The three main wires should be hot, neutral, and ground. The big pipe will
be the inlet, and the small pipe will be the outlet.

I would say 13 to 14 pounds vacuum (total vacuum would be 14.7 lbs) from a
compressor in moderately good shape. Should be more than enough.
