Note also that this expression can also be written as:
Vsec(max) = Vpri x SQRT(Lsec/Lpri)
where Lsec and Lpri are the inductances of the secondary
and primary coils.
An ideal Tesla coil produces exactly the same voltage that
a transformer with unitary coupling would produce, with a 
far-from-ideal transformer.
Possible sources of degradation are mainly resistive losses
(spark gap, wire resistance, irradiation) before the 
secondary voltage reaches the peak value.
