Re: FW: HV rectifier data anyone?

Sorry for not seeing this the first time . . .

The FX229 is a Hydrogen Thyratron
Mfr. Philips . . . Yr. 1957
equivalent to a 1907, a 5949, or a CV 3521
The filament Supply should be 6.3 Volts at 18.5 Amps
The Plate is ratted at 25,000 Volts at 500 mAmps

The CV2160 is a Half wave rectifier diode
Mfr. Ediswan . . . Yr. 1956
equivalent to a ESU77, or a DCG4/5000
The filament Supply should be 4.0 Volts at 12 Amps
The Plate is ratted at 40,000 Volts at 1,100 mAmps

The CV490 is a Half wave rectifier diode
Mfr. Ediswan . . . Yr. 1956
equivalent to a 19H5 . . . (as you stated)
The filament Supply should be 4.0 Volts at 4 Amps
The Plate is ratted at 18,000 Volts at 180 mAmps

Sorry I couldn't find any info on a FX2519 Thyratron,
the closest I have data on are FX215 and FX219.

If you've got these tubes we should be seeing a Killer coil soon,
Have fun with your new toys.
