Coilers who live in the Chicago area might want to check out
www.dovebrothers-dot-com for info on an auction of Comical Edison's 'excess
assets' to be held on 12/2/98. From the looks of the summary you could
probably buy everything you need to build your own generating station!  Or
how about a nice 600HP 4KV motor for that next RSG? There must be a pig or
two in there somewhere. Often, at mega-auctions like this, no one pays
attention to the 'little' stuff. Might be a chance to pick up that 25KVA
pig for $1.00...

They also list the number for ComEd's 'Investment Recovery' Dept as
630-783-3912. Might be a good place to try for pigs.

For those who live on the East coast and dream really big, there's also a
nuke plant in Maine up for auction;-)
