Capacitor construction

Construction is continuing on the four cell polystyrene stack cap. I
built an enclosure of 3/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard). The
interior is coated with epoxy, and the interior and exterior seams are
coated with resin potted fiberglass. The terminals are 1/2"
copper-plated steel bolts driven directly through the MDF lid...which
     leads to my question...

Is it acceptable that the terminal bolts make contact with the MDF, or
will there be sufficient conductance through the MDF to present a
     problem?

I have a JPEG of the box, if anyone wants to see it before rendering
an opinion. I haven't posted it here since I don't know what list
     policy is on image attachments.

P.S. Does anyone know if cured polyurethane foam is soluble in mineral
     oil?
