That's why I like TUBE diodes for multipliers. A good old 705A or 8028 doesn't
give you those problems.

	I agree completely.  Tubes don't die without a fight, most
semiconductor devices do.  Problem is, tube diode multipliers need
insulated filament transformers!!!!!
