greetings all,
I've been following the list while I construct my first coil. I found something interesting at a local used
bookstore. It's call the "Lakhovsky MULTIPLE WAVE OSCILLATOR handbook". I've only scanned it so far, but
generally, it speaks about the "rejuvenating effects" of the "MWO" which basically seems to be a tesla coil,
built into a suitcase, with either one or two antenna connected to the ground side of the secondary. This
process infers all types of miraculous "cures" (everything from sterility to colitis to crainial damage), and
includes testimonials from people who claimed that they were not only liberated from gawd awful quantities of
mucous, but were completely healed of all of the other symptoms that brought them to the Multi wave
practitioner in the first place. Now I'm not convinced that I need to sit in front of the tesla coil hoping to
find the fountain of youth, but I find it interesting and have a couple of questions.
1) I've heard of a guy in seattle who is somehow involved with the healing properties of the tesla coil. I was
wondering if there are testimonials, rumors, or practitioners out there who can speak to the so called
therapeutic properties the "MWO" or of Mr. George Lakhovsky's work. The book also covers "research" done by the
Borderland research foundation, has anyone heard of them.
2) there are lot's of what seem to be good plans for building coils, (that's why I bought the book). One
diagram shows the rf choke with the wire going from the transformer going THROUGH THE HOLLOW CENTER OF THE
CHOKE, the leads from the chokes go as follows:
- the lead closest to the tc primary is CONNECTED TO the wire going between the transformer to the spark gap.
- lead closest to the transformer SEEMS TO BE dangling in space.

I was under the impression that rf choke was connected at both ends (in series between the transformer and the
rest of the system, one end of each choke going to a resistor and then back to the transformer , and the other
end connected to the the line that heads out to the gap,cap,etc. did I miss something? can the choke actually
be used as a conduit for the wire to pass through and then connected to the line that passed through it? As I
said this is my first coil so I'm still working this all out. I'm using a 12kv/30ma nst.
One more thing, I am looking for a clean and efficient way to connect the #24 wire at the bottom of my 4.5"
secondary to ground (I see that braided wire or strap seems to raise some discussion), what then is the
recommended method?
BTW, the book is by Tom Brown,published in 1988 by boderland sciences. there looks like good plans for building
coils from model T coils and using points from a 1950, six cylinder, chevy or spark plugs for gaps.
The book also says that it can cure cancerous house plants,tennis elbow and urinary tract problems - so keep
those arcs flying and rejuvenate!!
