Well, spring time is here, and thoughts turn to Tesla coils and coiling. So I am
hosting the 1998 Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas Teslathon. We have a lot of coilers in
north Texas, and quite a few in San Antonio and Houston. I know there are a
bunch of active coilers in Oklahoma, and they're only about 3 hours away. We
have other nearby states with coilers, too. So you are all invited to come on
down on Saturday, May 30th. This is the weekend after Memorial day, so I
won't be messing up your holiday plans. If you have interesting stuff for sale,
bring it along and perhaps somebody won't be able to resist buying it. If you
want to bring your coil, that would be good too - I have 220 volts at 100 amps
available. We'll have burgers and hot dogs, chips, ad nauseum at lunch (small
fee to cover cost, if you care to participate in the eats). 'Thon starts at 10:00
a.m., will go until late dark.

Please contact me and let me know if you are coming. I am limiting this thing
to the first 40 people who reply - I've learned from Richard Hull's experience that
this number is a saturation point for this event. No alchohol, no kids under 15.

Respond for directions and phone numbers by May 25th. so I'll know how many
dogs to buy.

Hope you can make it!
