Malcolm,

A digest is a batch of postings that is sent periodically.  In other
words, you will only get one or two messages from tesla-d.  These messages
will have all the postings from the previous period since the last digest,
typically 1 day.

The advantage is that you don't get 25-50 messages per day from the list,
but instead get only one or two.

The disadvantage is that you won't be able to see the postings as they
come out, but will see them only when the digest is published, again,
typically on a daily basis.
