Wow, you are new to electronics...  All transformers need to be supplied
with an AC voltage, DC doesn't work.  A flyback is just a transformer with
a turns ratio.  In a transformer, you have two coils side-by-side(for
examples sake), a DC voltage doesn't produce a moving electric field, so
it can't produce eddy currents in the secondary of the transformer.  TTYL!
