Yes I agree this would be very useful (I suggested it a while ago to
no response) - with a reasonable number of entries, it should become
clear what performance is reasonable for a given set of parameters, so
for a new coil/setup, you can tell if it is better or worse than
avarage, so you know whether your time is best spent tweaking or
building a bigger one!  
To get the idea off the ground, why not EMail a form direct to some
well-known coilers. You could probably gather some info yourself from
some of the coilers' web pages.
Perhaps some 'charts' might add interest - perhaps best spark/power
ratio, longest spark overall, best/worst  appearence!
