First of all, I have worked in the electronics industry as a "working
engineer" for most of 18 years.  These capacitors were designed and
built by
Condenser Products specifically for use in a Tesla tank circuit.  The
rated
AC voltage on the caps is for the high voltage supply to the tank
circuit.
 After discussions with C.P. about the first cap that I lost, their
reply to
me and I quote " In reviewing your application 15,000 V rms at 500
milliamps
is not excessive for this capacitor".
