Kenneth I don't remember if it was on this list, the hvlist, or 
the USA-TESLA list, but I distinctly remember someone saying that 
they used a tire inner tube covered with aluminum tape as a torid. I 
don't think the rubber alone is THAT conductive, it seems to be more 
in the megohms range.
