Greetings,

PKZIP is, I believe, no longer shareware. However, gzip is freely
distributable. gzip will handle pkzipped files too, and .Z files
compressed with UNIX's compress utility. gzip for UNIX/Linux is
available
at prep.ai.mit.edu in /pub/gnu. There is a gzip-1.2.4.msdos.exe, as
well
as tar files for unix.

A variac is a variable auto transformer. The purpose of the variac is
to
allow the tesla coil operator to throttle up the tesla coil slowly,
thereby producing less strain on the system and providing some control
over the system while playing with it.

And now what you all have been waiting for --

Part of the advantage of the automatic list server software is it's
ability to provide access to the archives. To find out how this is
done,
you can mail to tesla-request-at-pupman-dot-com with the word help as the only
word in the message.

It is important to send to the tesla-request address. This is the
address
that does this sort of processing. You can use the facilities to search
for strings in past articles.
