A good plastic for various parts of coiling is the white plastic cutting
boards they sell in Wal Mart and various other places. Its about 1/2 "
thick,
cheap and tough. It works great for end caps, primary coil
supports,braces,
enclosures, etc,,, Its also easy to drill and work and form. Ive used it
for
several pieces parts and its also an excellent insulator, I use it a lot
now.
Also the potting compound works great, that stuff is strong, so much
better
than either compound used alone, hot glue or paraffin alone that is. I
thought this might be useful info. Stephen Sanders
