Richard,
We here at the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center use high RF source
transmitters and most recently are using a Tesla Coil for environmental
testing. The E.P.A. has no real position on the use of Tesla coils or any
high magnetic field devices. The only concern they had, was in regards to
the use of PCB's in devices. The only Federal agencey we needed to confer
with was the FCC. And they instructed us to keep the device in a sealed
metal building, with good grounding, to aviod RF interference. Oh and as far
as Radiation, Ozone, and other electromagnetic nasties. Your T.V., automobile
and home Computer are of much more concern to the government than a low
frequency electromagnetic device.

But, I'm not saying that these devices are completly safe. Don't
upset the neighbors. And, really don't upset the local utility company.

Please be safe.
