Signal to noise

Greetings all,

One of the most prevalent themes of the comments about the list scope is 
that people appreciate the signal to noise ratio.  With my request for
comments on the list this ratio has degraded significantly.  I think it
is a good idea to open a discussion on such an important topic, but the 
one thing I hate doing is wasting people's time.  That being said, tomorrow 
(Friday January 26th 1996) will be the last day that this topic will be 
posted.  I'll read the opinions and come to a decision by Monday and
post it.  Thanks for your input and mostly your patience!
